Students of class IV enacted the role play on
the interesting story Chulbul’s Tail. They in groups played the role of the
naughty Chulbul, the squirrel and Dr.Bombo, the wise bear. This activity
boosted their interest, confidence and enhanced their creative skills and
analytical skills as well.

My Abacus

Abacus is a
device which is used to teach the children about place values of different
digits of the numbers. The students of class III made their own abacus. It had
4 spikes to represent 4-digit numbers they used clay as a base, toothpicks as
spikes to represent thousand ‘place hundreds place, tennis place and ones place
and beads of different colors to represent the digit in a particular place. All
the students enjoyed this activity a lot.

Fun with predecessor and successor
The students
of class 3 had great fun in doing the activity related to predecessors and
successors of 4-digit numbers.
They played
snakes and ladder where the board of snakes and ladder was having 4-digit
numbers in place of 1-digit and 2-digit numbers. The facilitators rolled the
dice and told the numbers. The students had to move the coin to the new
position after adding that numbers. The students had to write the predecessor
and successor of the new number in a given table.
The students
enjoyed the game a lot and wanted to play it again and again.

protecting this biodiversity, the dire need to protect the Mother Earth was
depicted through a creative choreography. Cultural
programmes were organised as part of the celebrations that featured the
talented performers.

Students did an activity to learn the difference between short 'e' and long 'e' sounds. First they did a warm up activity where they behaved like a chick inside the egg which is ready to hatch. same was cut and pasted in the project file. The conjunctions were underlined
and a brief note was written about the article. The motive of this activity was
to make the children aware of the usage of conjunctions in day to day life.
