Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that we are not observing a holiday on Gandhi Jayanti. We are going to pay homage to the teachings and philosophy of Gandhiji by working more on this day. On account of this, we are celebrating ‘Joy of Giving Day’ on 2nd October itself to inculcate sense of empathy and sympathy among our students. On this day, we are going to invite some children from orphanage to our school or we shall take students to a nearby orphanage. Children from orphanage will be served with refreshments. We would like to invite you to visit the school and donate for these under – privileged children. Even, your kith and kin may accompany you for this noble cause. To invite them for this, some pamphlets have been handed over to the students so they may be given to their friends’ parents.
