TMS HMEL believes academic learning and sports are, actually, complementary to each other. They are the two sides of the same coin. If total education makes full development of the over-all personality of a pupil possible, he gets the qualities of leadership, tolerance, sharing and team-spirit from sports.
Keeping aforementioned principle in mind, a new Lawn Tennis Court was inaugurated at TMS HMEL by Mr. Rajeev Parmar, DGM Projects HMEL Refinery and Mr. Saurav Ahuja, AGM HMEL Refinery. The principal of the school, Dr Sunil Kumar welcomed the guests with beautiful bouquets. Mr. Parmar cut the ribbons of the wrapped rackets formally and declared open the lawn tennis court for the students. Mr. Parmar, in his speech, told the students about the value of sports in life. Besides, he emphasized on inculcating moral values to be a good human being. He added man must be a good human being first before holding any important position in life. Dr Kumar expressed his gratitude to the guests to grace the occasion with their precious presence.
