The play titled ‘Deepak Talay….’ directed by our very own bard “Nandini Malhotra” brought to fore the malaise prevalent in our education system. Rightly said, “Children don’t fail, we fail them”. The play was an eye opener into the lofty ambitions of the parents as well as the deep rooted problems in our Educational System that together have taken a toll on the child’s dream and aspirations. Can we label children as bright, average and failure? Is the tag of failure to be borne by one for an entire lifetime? These were some of the poignant questions that were raised during the play.
