Circular For New Parents

Dear Parents,

 

It gives us immense joy and pleasure to accept you as our partners in exploring the unique talents of your child.   It is the care for your loved ones that has brought you to us at “The Millennium School” and jointly we shall RISE HIGH & SOAR. Many milestones have been achieved; many are yet to be conquered, with fresh hope and new thinking we are starting afresh our third academic session on 9th of April, 2012 and welcome all new family members. We believe that the first teachers of the child are his parents as they know their child the most .We endeavour to work with the parents as a team and consider them equal partners in the child’s growth. To unfold the Millennium Learning System for our valued parents you are cordially invited for ‘Parichay- a Parent Orientation Programme’ on Wednesday ,4th April at 10:30 am sharp.

KNOW THE SCHOOL PROGRAMME

For your benefit and convenience we have created a checklist of things that you may kindly check before you leave the school premises on 4th April to ensure that you have not missed out anything important.  

 

Books & Stationery:

Books & Stationery are available at the Stationery Counter. Kindly find the list of stationery & books inside the pack and cross-check for all items

 

NOTE: If some titles of the Books and School Almanac are missing then the same will be provided to the students in the classes itself.

 

ID Card:

Please collect the IDENTITY CARD form & temporary I-card from the class teacher and fill your ward’s details in the BLOCK LETTERS only.

 

Uniform:

Kindly purchase summer uniform and shoes from Vardhman Dresses, behind Gole Diggi Market, Near Bhana Mal Trust. Please check the house of your ward from the class teacher before giving order for house dress (from class I onward only).

 

Transport Route:

Check the Bus No. and stoppage for your ward at the Transport Counter. 

 

Mid Day Meal:

Mid Day Meal is an optional facility for children. Wholesome and balanced meals shall be provided by the school under hygienic conditions at a minimal payment. Those who choose to opt for it may kindly pay the fee at the mid-day meal counter. Lunch will be provided from 09th April 2012.

Academic Session 2012-13 commences from 9th April, 2012.

Kindly fill all the necessary details in the Almanac and submit to the class teacher.

Please collect Fee Booklet for the session 2012-13 from the class teacher.

Kindly pay Mid-Day-Meal fee at the Mid Day meal counter.

Please check Transport Route and Bus No. from the Transport Manager.

Sale of Books & Stationery will be conducted in the school premises from 4th-6th of April, 2012 from 10: 00 am to 2:00 pm.

 

Summer Timings:

Classes PN, Nur, KG, the school timings will be 9:30 am – 1:00 pm.

Classes I-VIII, the school timings will be 7:50 am – 3:00 pm.

 

 

IMPORTANT:  School Timings on the First Day (9th April, 2012):

 

Classes Pre Nur, Nursery, KG & I : Parents to drop their wards at 9:30 am on 9th April, 2012 and submit the duly checked books & stationery to the class teacher, children will return in the school bus. Timings for the Little Millennium students would be 9:30-12 noon (first day only)

Students of classes II onwards will come by school bus.

We had together taken the first step of our journey and the seed sown by us has started developing its initial roots and begun its growth towards blossoming.  As the second academic session draws to a close, please accept our sincere gratitude for the support extended by you.  The starting journey has been exciting and challenging. Many milestones have been achieved; many are yet to be conquered, with fresh hope and new thinking we are starting afresh our third academic session on 9th of April, 2012…………..

Dear Parents,

 

A warm thank you for the warmth and cooperation extended by you throughout the session 2011-12.It has been our pleasure to have you our partners as you have left no stone unturned to share equal responsibilities in making our children the best . To express our gratitude and pride to have you as our parents, the Millennium stars have prepared a sensational event –Childhood Dreams…..Realms of Innocence on 3rd March at 2:45 pm. You are cordially invited to attend and grace the occasion with your benign presence.

 

 Please adhere to the following instructions so that the decorum of the event can be maintained.

 

Please carry your invites to the function to prove your identity. Every invite admits two only.

 

You are requested to arrive on time and be seated by 2:45 pm sharp. Kindly note - Programme will start on time, if you will come late you may miss your ward’s performance.

 

 

Please do not carry your cameras as photographing or recording of the event will not be allowed. In order to reduce the possibilities of distractions to the children performing on stage, you are requested to keep your mobile phones on silent mode or switched off throughout the event.

 

Please do not get up during the function as you will not be allowed to leave your seats while performance is going on. Students will be handed over to you only after the entire programme is over.

 

 

School buses will pick up all the students according to the given timings. Students will go back with their parents, buses will not ply in the evening.

 

The reporting time on 3rd March 2012, for Classes III-VII is 11:30 am.

 

 

Please send your ward’s Almanac, a Healthy Tiffin and water bottle. Students should wear their school uniform.

 

All parents are requested to pick up their wards from the Green Rooms after the programme. The students will be handed over to you after taking your signatures only. Please do not forget to bring your Authority Cards.

This is India’s Millennium.”

  • To enlighten and awaken the residents of Bathinda our youth brigade is taking a pledge to spread the message ‘Safe Driving – Saves Lives’.
  • All students of classes 6th and 7th  are participating in this project on 25th Feb,2012.
  • Parents are requested to note the following instructions:-

      -  Please send a healthy tiffin and a water bottle.

      -  Buses will pick and drop your ward .

      -  Timings will be from 2:15 pm -5:30 pm.

            -  Please ensure that your wards are wearing their I-Cards and are in proper winter school uniform.

Most of us travel the roads everyday, driving may seem routine but it can be very dangerous, sometimes it costs lives too. Accidents can be prevented if we approach driving with a proper attitude, good driving skills and a well maintained vehicle.  Safe driving needs to start before you even get behind the wheel with proper training.

By starting in the classroom, we believe that we will be laying the foundation for a new attitude to road safety for generations to come.

‘Life Is Very Precious’ we cannot afford to lose it. To sensitize the residents of Bathinda  for Road Safety Consciousness and Say No To Drugs, let us drive for a cause on 25th Feb 2012, Saturday, To make our roads more safe and secure we appeal to our dear parents to join in……
