·         We at Millennium do not encourage unprecedented leave. Please avoid it. It breaks the link of the child. Please let the child take leave only if it’s unavoidable.

·         Please ensure that the prior appointments are taken to meet The Principal, Teacher, Administrator and Accountant.

·         Instructional practice is to be done by the child. Please make sure you guide the child when he does it. In case of any difficulty, please get back to us.

·         Spending quality time with your ward is must.

We encourage that- you share at least 30 minutes with your child for any physical activity. It will help you to bond better. Keep your child away from TV.

·         We want you to send only 2 éclairs or any candy which is not more than Rs 5 for your ward’s birthday.

·         The Summer vacation would be from 28^th April to 14^th June, 2012.

·         The uniform vendor would be now Akash uniforms in Indore. The Uniform would be available in the last week of May; till then, he/she can come in any plain T-shirt with simple denims.

We come to the end of a successful session. We congratulate the students and parents alike.

Please note the following

·         The Final Parent Faculty Meet would be held on 30^th March 2012 Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

·         The bus routes will be displayed along with timings on the same day.

·         The new session would commence from 2^nd April 2012 Monday.

·         The Summer Vacation would be from 28^th April to 14^th June 2012.

·         The booklist would be available with the Class Teachers and you are requested to deposit the money accordingly. The book-set would be given to the student as soon as it is received from the Corporate Office.

·         The Uniform Vendor would be now Akash Uniforms in Indore. The uniform would be available in the last week of May, till then in case your ward doesn’t have the Summer Uniform or has out grown it, he/she can come in any plain T-Shirt with simple denims.

·         You will be glad to know that the School is introducing French from Grade -5 next year. Sanskrit would also be available for students of Grade -6 and 7 as an alternative option.

·         The present students of Ready to Fly who have graduated to Grade1 would have new time for the next session which is 8:00 a.m to 2:40 p.m. They would be provided with breakfast and lunch both.

·         The second and fourth Saturday of every month would be a holiday for students for the next session.

·         For the first day please send a rough notebook. The stationery list would be given to you, you can deposit after the school reopens after the Summer Vacation

·         The last date for submission of Fees for the 1^st Quarter is from 1^st April to 10^th April 2012.

The Millennium School is organizing a “Hindi Recitation Competition” for classes 1^st and 2^nd and             “Shudh Lekhan Competition” for classes 3^rd to 5^th .For the recitation competition, the recitation time for the poem should not exceed 3minutes.The children can bring along the props if required.

So, all the students from classes Pre Nur to KG will be taken to a Gurudwara, a Temple and a Church on the 21st September 2011, Wednesday within the school timings.

So, all the students from classes 3^rd to 5^th will be taken to the book fair at Gandhi Hall on the 9^th September 2011, Friday within the school timings. If you want the child to purchase a book, please send Rs.50 along with the child.

The Millennium School is organizing “Best out of Waste Activity”for moms and kids of The Millennium School on the 17^th September 2011, Saturday .The timing for the competition would be 9:15a.m. to10:00 a.m. The fathers can also participate if they want.

So, parents get ready to create a master piece with your imagination and your kid’s creativity related to the theme “Wow! Books” Please bring along all the materials required.

Dear Parents,

Greetings from The Millennium School, Indore.

The Millennium School is taking part in “The Grand Banyan Project”, a movement for environment awareness and sustainable action organized by British Council’s Connecting Classrooms and I Love My Mother Earth Foundation (ILMME). This year make your family a part of one of the biggest paper recycling project and contribute towards saving the environment and helping a huge number of less advantaged children with notebooks made from recycled paper.

Participating children will have to bring paper waste to school from 01 Aug - 18 Oct 2011. Paper waste can include full sheets of paper/ torn or shredded paper/ circulars/ used envelopes/ used or discarded books & notebooks/ cardboard boxes/ paper cups/ old newspapers/ magazines. After the collection, the school will hand over the paper waste to the organizers to send it for recycling and provide Note Books to the underprivileged children.

Together we can and we will make a difference.

Kindly support our endeavor  to make the Earth a better place. You can deposit the valuable waste with school through your kids or your own. You can bring it along on 17^th September 2011, our second PTM.
