Dear Parents, Greetings from The Millennium School, Indore!

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARDS 2019-20

‘WORLD EXPLORER’

“The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people!”

In this academic session 2019-20 The Millennium School Indore has initiated the process to instill global dimension into the learning experience and registered for the British Council International School Awards 2019-20 (ISA).

We, at TMS believe that globalization in education paves a way to prosperity, growth and harmony among nations and make available to pupils an opportunity to add on to their knowledge about the distinguished entities existing on the world map. We emphatically endorse that learning does not happen in desolation but in alliance and confederation which is pleasurable and reciprocating.

In continuation to this, the school has organized our monthly event Pick and Say on the theme of ‘OUR GLOBAL NEIGHBOURHOOD’ for the students of Ready to Fly to present countries allotted on Friday 27th September 2019. The students will present their allotted country with their creatives in the form of charts/ flashcards/ placards/ props in the event. The best performances will be appreciated and awarded.

You are requested to note the following points-

Collect the information about the Physical Features of the country allotted like the geographical location, national flag, language, famous monuments or popular places to visit, festivals and culture, food, people, costumes, etc and prepare creative and informative charts/ flashcards/ placards/ props.

Food is an ingredient that binds us together. To enhance the knowledge about the different cuisines of the world the student may bring any one dish of the Country.

 Country allotted for study:          ………………………………………………….....
