The Millennium school, Kurukshetra celebrated Diwali with great fanfare, devotion and excitement.A special assembly was organized by the students of class VI to mark the occasion. The principal lit the lamp to begin the assembly on the auspicious occasion.A group song and rhythmic dance of the students mesmerized the audience. A skit was also presented by class VII showing the life of Lord Rama to convey the message of sacrifice and good always conquer the evil.A speech and a poem about the significance of the festival by the students of class VI spiced up the occasion.The school wore a festive look with diyas adorning the premises and the assembly hall. The rangoli done by the learners, the previous day added the perfect setting to the festivity.The assembly concluded with principal sir giving away the message of a clean peaceful and a bright Diwali and sensitized the students to the ill effects of crackers.
