GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION

The tiny tots of class I and II exhibited their immense love and attachment towards their grandparents by celebrating the Grandparent’s Day in the Multipurpose Hall of the school. The delightful programme commenced with the welcome speech and the lighting of the lamp by the Principal Dr. A.K. Singh. Then the function moved ahead with the Ganesh Vandana and the Welcome Song.The talented saplings spell bound the audiences with the cultural and commemorative events. The little bards recited poems on the importance of the grandparents in life. The vibrant dances on the songs Moochh Wale Dadaji, NanheMunneBachche and Melody Dance vibrated the feet of the listeners.   Scintillating  Yoga Dance and Melody Dance by students were also the specimens of their exuberance and unmatched zeal and rhythm.The grandparents played various engrossing and entertaining games and thus enjoyed the occasion thoroughly.The winners were given away prizes, too. By being with kids the grandparents looked as if their life had sparkled again. Kids, too, were elated to surprise their loved ones with such special performances.  The elderly guests expressed their gratitude towards the little ones and the school for nurturing and fostering the legacy of love and respect among the young ones. The function culminated with the Millennium Anthem.  Principal Dr. A. K. Singh stated that the grandparents play an imperative role in the life of every child. They are the child’s support and their best friend. They are also the wise and experienced ones we turn to in times of trouble. He appreciated the kids for their vibrant performances; and thanked the grandparents for their gracious presence to make the occasion exotic.
