A workshop on Safe and Unsafe Touch was conducted in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra. Mrs. Geeta Chopra, a renowned psychologist from Delhi,conducted the workshop for the students of classes 1 to 12. It was discussed why the knowledge of bad and good touch is essential in life, especially to the children. Both boys and girls were advised to be vigilant about it. It was suggested not to touch anybody's private body parts , nor to allow anyone to touch his or her body parts, nor to remove the clothes in front of any unknown person,etc. If someone does so, follow the rule of 'No-Go- Tell' i.e. say No loudly, Go from that place immediately and Share it with parents or teachers. It was suggested to the students to share this learning to at least 5 more people around them. A video on this issue was also shared. It was an interactive session. Some children also shared the instances of such harresment with someone in their acquaintance. Thus, the session proved to be very useful to all the students.
