The Millennium School, Kurukshetra organised Mock Parliament on 23 August, 2022 in the school MPH. The event was inaugurated with lamp lightening by the Headmistress Mrs. Deepika Kaushal, along with the event incharge Mrs. Pooja Chhabra and Moderator Mansvi Bangarh There were total 40 delegates, out of which 25 are from NDA, and 15 from UPA. The proceedings of the parliament initiated when the delegate Narendra Modi raised the motion which was followed by the discussion on the agenda " Agnipath Scheme’’ All the delegates performed well by raising the questions and answering them vehemently. A clear clash between Mulayam Singh Yadav and Om Birla and a good research by Abhishek Banerjee, Abhiranjan choudhary and Piyush Goyal made the proceedings quiet interesting as well as engaging. The delegates were so enthusiastic about the second day of conference held on 24 August, 2022. The second day of the Mock Parliament continued for three hours as the proceeding went on with raising the sub agenda on financing of the scheme along with protest and riots country wide due to the scheme. Results were announced at noon as the Moderator Mansvi Bangarh invited the Director/Principal Mrs. Amita Kochhar, event incharge Pooja Chhabra and headmistress Deepika Kaushal . Abhishek Banerjee (Abhiraj Singh) was declared the best delegate, Mulayam Singh Yadav (Bhavkaran Singh), Piyus Goyal (Samridhi Bali)and Sunita Duggal (Ryan Garg) were the parliamentarians of High Commendation. The Event In-charge presented the vote of thanks to the Moderator Mansvi Bhangar who is a student of Political Science honors in Delhi University and national level debater and speaker. Director/Principal ma'am shared her words of wisdom and appreciated the students for exhibiting their talent as the Parliamentarians.
