THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL, KURUKSHETRA CELEBRATES TEACHER’S DAY WITH FERVOUR

Teacher’s day was celebrated with great respect and enthusiasm in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra. A special assembly was organized by the students of class XI. The students did all the preparations with extreme love and zeal. They welcomed all the teachers by putting a Tilak and badge. Many students presented hand-made cards to the teachers. The celebration started in the MPH of the school. A floral tribute was offered to the honourable President, educationist and philosopher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by the Principal Dr. A. K. Singh and all four academic coordinators. A speech to depict the sanctity of the day was delivered by the class XI student Pooja. Maniparna and Anju of class XI recited poems to appreciate the role played by the teachers at every step of life. Inter-house Group Dance and Hindi Skit competitions were also organized on this occasion. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh also addressed the teachers and told the students that a teacher plays a pivotal role in the life of every person. Only a teacher can guide his students like a torchbearer with an indomitable dedication and determination. Hence, this is the duty of every student to respect a teacher from the core of his heart. The Chairman of The Millennium Schools, Mr. Shantanu Prakash also addressed the teachers and shared his thoughts about the vision of the MLS. He urged all the teachers to guide the learners of the 21st century to be extremely careful at picking the knowledge from the information being exploded by various sites. School also served sumptuous lunch to the teachers as a mark of reverence and gratitude.
