THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL, KURUKSHETRA ORGANISES BASANTOTSAV

‘Spring has returned, earth is like a child that knows poem.’ Celebrating the arrival of the spring  season  The Millennium School, Kurukshetra organized Basantotsav on 10 February 2019. The extravaganza started with the worship of Saraswati, the Goddess of liveliness, knowledge and wisdom by lighting the ceremonial lamp at 10 am. Plethora of activities were the attractions on this special day. The school field was totally transformed into an alluring fair site. A lot of game-stalls were installed. The parents who had accompanied the children appeared mostly in yellow attires. They tried their luck at almost each game-stall and won attractive gifts in return. All the games were not only magnetic, funny and engaging, but also unique and novel to all. Pick the Nose, Frisbee Toss, Ring a Duck, Strike the Goal with a Striker, and so on… each game filled all the players with excitement and anticipation.  Besides this, Hot Air Balloon Ride, Tonga Ride, Water Zorbing, etc. were the icing of cake. All the students seemed determined to master the myriad little challenges. Relishing Haryanvi, Punjabi, Indian and Chinese dishes was an integral part of everyone’s to-do list. Near about 44 Lucy Draws were announced for the raffle-ticket possessors. All the visitors appreciated the school for such engaging and bounce-back activities. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh thanked all the students, parents and  sponsors to make the grand event a huge success. He stated that such events are very imperative in life to break the monotony and to rejuvenate it to accomplish the assigned tasks more vigorously
