Proving her mettle, Vanshika Singh of the Millennium School, Kurukshetra, won first rank in Haryana Schools State Level Chess Tournament. She also got the gold medal and has been selected for National level tournament to be held in the second week of October in Andhra Pradesh. The competition was held at Arya Girls Public School, Panipat from 17th to 19 September 2018. The enthusiastic victor did phenomenally well in all the events by challenging many other players from various districts. Along with Vanshika Singh, Karan Aghi, Arpanpreet Singh and Anshika also participated in the prestigious competition and won three rounds out of five each. Principal Dr. A.K. Singh welcomed all the players on their arrival in the school. He congratulated all the laureates and their coach Mr. Rajesh Dogra on this praiseworthy achievement.
