A workshop under the ‘Road Safety Awareness Programme’ during  the Road Safety Week was organized in The Millennium School  with the collaboration of Haryana Traffic  Police. Deputy. S. P. (Head Quarter) Mr. Krishan Kumar, SDM-cum-RTA Mr. Narenderpal Malik, District Elementary Education Officer, Kurukshetra and Principal Dr. A. K. Singh inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp.  The importance of the road safety was explained with the help of songs, dances, videos and a play.  The honourable dignitaries urged the students to be the true representatives of road safety in the family and society by creating awareness. They also told them that life is precious and it must be saved by becoming  aware and careful citizens.  The School and the participants were given the mementos and appreciation certificates for their endeavours to exhibit the importance of following  the road safety rules. Principal thanked the organizers for this noble  task and initiative: and for giving the school the privilege to host the programme.
