TMS, KKR CELEBRATES GURU NANAK DEVJI’S 550TH JAYANTI WITH DEVOTION

The auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Devji’s 550th birthday was celebrated in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra with great devotion. The inspirational life sketch of the great Sage and reformer, the first Guru of Sikhs, was depicted through a speech and an interactive video. The students of class VIII sang the melodious Shabad ‘Tum thakur, tum se hai ardaas’ with extreme meditation and zeal. Jaismira and Anshika of class IX chanted the poem ‘Nanak diyan gujhian, rab jaane’ very tunefully. ‘Ardaas’ was rendered for the prosperity of the mankind, students and school. ‘Panj Pyare’ were also the centre of attraction. A quiz was also held to confirm and enhance the knowledge of the learners.Besides the senior students, the KG students of Little Millennium also presented a special assembly. It included the shabad ‘Jeda jhuth na bole’ and a dance on the birthday of Vaheguru. Prashad of Halwa was distributed among the entire staff members. Principal Dr. A.K. Singh told the students to follow the path of righteousness and goodness as per the teachings of the respectable Guru in order to lead a satisfied life.
