TMS, KURUKSHETRA ORGANIZED LEISURE-CUM- EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO AMRITSAR

The Millennium School, Kurukshetra has always assisted the learners to know about the world adequately and has inculcated the sense of appreciation toward the location and environment. Enhancing the horizon of the learners’ knowledge, the school organized a leisure-cum-educational trip to Amritsar from 25 December to 27 December. On the very first day, learners visited Partition Museum and Jalianwala Bagh and attained the knowledge about the major historical events held in 1947 and 1919 during the British rule. The students also visited the Golden Temple which is a prominent shrine of Sikhs since ages. All of them prayed there and sought the blessings of the Almighty.  The visit to the War Memorial, Saadda Pind, Durgyana Mandir and Gobindgarh Fort also proved to be very thrilling and exciting. The students were overwhelmed with joy and astonishment when they came across the rich culture and heritage of Punjab. The learners also enhanced their knowledge more about the struggle and development of Punjab and Punjabies by visiting the Jung-E- Azadi and Partition Museums. They quenched their queries by asking various coherent and thought provoking questions. Students also paid a visit to The Millennium School, Amritsar as a friendly meet and shared their experiences with each others. All the students enjoyed a lot along with the teachers accompanying them. Thus, the trip proved to be educative and collaborative to all the little explorers.
