TREE PLANTATION DRIVE IN SCHOOL CAMPUS

A tree plantation drive was organised at The Millennium School, Kurukshetra for the students of classes VI to VIII to create awareness and spread the message of saving our planet Earth. Students were provided with twenty different types of saplings and planted them in the campus. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh, teachers and school administration staff members also planted the plants along with students and watered them. They were also told about the importance of trees in contributing to the environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, conserving water, preserving soil, and providing shelter and medicines. Principal Dr. A.K. Singh encouraged the students to vow to take the responsibility not only to grow the trees but also to take care and protect them.
