The learners of The Millennium School, Kurukshetra visited the ‘Printing Press’of the renowned and widely read newspaper ‘The Tribune’ in Chandigarh on August 16,2018 i.e. Thursday.The learners were acquainted with the information about the process of printing a newspaper, vital role of aluminum sheets and primary colors. They also got to know about the responsibilities of a newspaper reporter, an editor and an ankler.The Printing press was also shown to the learners with a working demonstration .They were also told about the process of newspaper printing from collecting information to the distribution of the newspaper step wise.The learners asked many questions voraciously to get more information about the newspaper.Overall, that trip was full of wisdom for the learners as well as for the facilitators. Learners enjoyed it a lot as the concept was new to them.
