A workshop on ‘Disaster Management and First-Aid’ was organized in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra by the Rotary Club, Kurukshetra on 21 August 2015 to create awareness among the learners, the facilitators, the drivers and the conductors. Mr. Rajendra Saini, lecturer, the Indian Red Cross Society, Kurukshetra and Mrs. Rohini, lecturer, the Indian Red Cross Society, Panipat made the audiences acquainted with many useful and easy techniques dealing with the havoc created by the natural or other catastrophes, like earthquake, accident, heart attack, injuries etc. through an interesting and vivid demonstration. They told that an invaluable life can be saved by providing a rapid and timely help. Mr. Sanjeev Chhabra, President, the Rotary Club, Kurukshetra; Mr. Ajay Bajaj, Secretary, the Rotary Club, Kurukshetra and other distinguished personalities of the Rotary Club and the Indian Red Cross Society graced the occasion with their presence. Principal, Ms. Archana Soni offered her gratitude on the behalf of the Millennium family by presenting tokens to the members at the end of the workshop.
