WORKSHOP ON HEALTH AND HYGIENE

Rotary Club, Kurukshetra conducted a workshop in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra on the importance of health and hygiene as it is observing the Mother and Child Health Week. A special team of renowned doctors visited the school and imparted crucial information about the ways to keep the body and mind healthy. Dr. Rakesh Bhardwaj explained that one must have a sleep of at least 7-8 hours to keep the mind properly active and fresh. The consumption of balanced diet is critically essential to stay healthy and for the growth of the body.  He advised the students to avoid the junk food and to take exercise daily. Further, Dr. Vivek Lalit demonstrated the correct method of washing the hands. He depicted how six vital parts of the hands must be washed by adopting the correct ways before eating and after using the toilet.   Some students in return also exhibited what they understood from the workshop.  The queries of students regarding the issues were also satisfied. The guest team presented a memento to the  Principal Dr. A.K. Singh in the end. He also expressed his heart felt gratitude to the Rotary Club for giving such a relevant and crucial information to the students.
