ANNUAL SPORTS FIESTA CLASS IV AT MILLENNIUM SCHOOL LUCKNOW

The Standard IV Students had a fantastic day of sports on 16th February. There was much excitement in the air from the very beginning of the day when all students arrived to school .

It turned out to be a huge success with parents turning out in large numbers to motivate their children. The gathering was welcomed by the Head boy of the school.

The sports meet was held open after the lighting of the torch by our Principal Dr Manjula Goswami.

The event started with the marching of the office bearers of the Primary School( MLS1)

The day was full of fun, cheers, exciting games, and great exhibition of sportsmanship qualities by young students. Children participated in various events including hurdle race, 100 m and relay race. The athletes tried their best to run on the tracks as fast as possible in order to achieve the best result for their houses. All children were super speedy and made their way to the finish line in record time. There was also a fantastic display of sportsmanship by both the Dads and the Mums in the parents race.

The morning continued  with the medal ceremony in which all students received medals for their sporting efforts. Thereafter the various drills like Cape Drill, Dandiya  and the Japanese drill dance left the audience spell bound. The events that followed were  the most energetic and cheered tug of war for the Parents  where Parents competed against each other.

And as no sports event can end without  Pyramids,  the 4th  standard student excelled in formations of beautiful pyramids for both boys and girls. The event concluded with the Grand Finale.  All the students demonstrated amazing agility, coordination and keenness in their participation. The faces of the students were radiant and the event was much appreciated by all present . The children were awesome and in the end each one of them proved to be a true winner.
