The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth”

Rightly said, our planet is truly a magnificent place. It’s perfect but it’s in trouble.Nature is under assault and if we don’t take steps now to try and repair the damage, there might not be much of the world left to pass onto the future generations.Earth day is an important annual event celebrated worldwide on April 22. To instill an understanding of degenerating assets of our mother “Earth”,  Students of The Millennium School, Lucknow participated in various activities that were held to make them aware of this day.  Students enthusiastically took part in badge making activity, colouring activity and recycled old newspaper to make shopping bags, putting emphasis on conserving our natural resources. Students understood the significance of this day by doing an informative worksheet which made them dive deep into the concept of preservation.  The children were encouraged to do their bit and use environmental friendly and energy efficient ways to protect our beautiful planet.
