EARTH DAY AT THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL

EARTH DAY AT THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL

With the fear of Global warming, looming large above mankind, we need to sensitize the young brigade about the atrocities meted out to Mother Earth. Students at The Millennium School, South City celebrated the Earth Day on 22nd April, 2016  with a myriad of educational activities.

In an effort to spread awareness with regard to the calamitous degradation of the environment, a plantation drive was initiated by the children who planted saplings in the school premises. The students participated in Slogan-writing and caption writing competition. The students were also taught the art of leaf-printing .

The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami addressed the children and stated that planting a few trees is not the end of our responsibility, we need to carry forward this crusade for environment conservation from our school to our homes and to the world at large.
