REPUBLIC DAY CELEBERATION Evoking the National spirit, The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow, celebrated India’s 72nd Republic Day through a special virtual assembly. It was a sacred and solemn occasion, marked by an enthusiastic display of euphoria and patriotism by students of MLS III and IV. The program began with the unfurling of the tricolour by the Principal of school, Dr Manjula Goswami, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter, the Head boy and head girl of the school, delivered speeches in English and Hindi respectively highlighting the importance of the day. A heartfelt tribute to the martyrs, ceremonial salute and the harmony of National Song soaked everyone with pride and renewed their love for the country. Students did their best in spreading and sharing patriotic warmth all around. They successfully showcased their love for their motherland in the form of songs, beautiful messages and inspiring speeches. Students of MLS III enacted, edited and presented a small yet informative play revealing the crucial and substantial happenings on this day. Further, certificates were awarded to the academic achievers along with the students who enthusiastically participated in various activities conducted in school. In her address, Respected Principal Ma’am enlightened the students about the significance of Republic Day. She appealed to the students to be concerted in their efforts, to remain disciplined and humble in order to achieve success and step forward for a better tomorrow.
