MESSAGE FROM A PARENT OF GRADE II

Hello everyone!

I am the mother of Ellora Mukherjee, a student of Grade II studying at The Millennium School, Lucknow.

Well, we all are going through the worst phase of our life during this lockdown period owing to the deadly pandemic, COVID 19 which has not only jeopardised our physical but mental well being as well. Our normal life has suddenly come to a standstill.

If we adults are losing our patience in such a situation then we can very well imagine the mental stress and frustration our kids are going through.

They can neither venture out nor play or meet their friends. They were simply getting bored and irritated.

The Millenium School, Lucknow has come to their rescue at this tough time like an angel. We are really grateful to them.

The commendable initiative of the school to start virtual classrooms with the soul motto that children maintain the continuity of their studies and also their syllabus doesn't lack behind during this uncertainty period.

These online classes were the need of the hour. Kids were able to freely interact with their teachers.

As today's kids are gadget freaks, such classes help them to remain focused and at the same time learn new things with fun.

The teacher student interactive sessions are really beneficial and intriguing. The children are completely engrossed in the learning process.

The schedules of the classes have helped our kids to maintain a disciplined daily routine which otherwise would have gone haywire as we experience during the summer or winter vacations.

The instructional practice given as homework by the teachers also keeps the children preoccupied and helps them to evaluate whatever they have learnt during the online sessions.

The educational videos and other teaching aids used by the teachers to explain their lesson modules were able to grab the attention of the students.

I am extremely thankful to the school to have come up with such an innovative idea involving skilled and meticulous teaching faculty who have utilized their expertise, resources and methodologies to bail out the students from the boredom of sitting idly at home.

A very Big Thank You to the tireless and the wholehearted efforts of the school.

Atleast someone had walked an extra mile to light a candle so that all can sail through the dark path.

We assure you our complete support in such ventures in near future as well.

Keep up the good work. Wish you the very best.

Everyone stay safe, maintain social distancing and personal hygiene.

Thank You!
