“Rakhi : The Thread Which Binds”
The Millennium School , Lucknow, celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 27th August, 2015.
The children of the school presented a special assembly on this occasion.
The orators and dancers performed to the best of their ability. Their colorful attires and innocent smiles, with a message of bondage, brightened the whole atmosphere.
Esteemed sibling parents of The Millennium School, Lucknow, were invited as guests of honour. They showered their blessings on the children through their golden words.
Various competitions like rakhi making, collage making etc. Were also the highlights of the day.
The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami, greeted everyone. She reiterated that celebration of festivals in school is of great social significance and it underlies the vision that we should live in harmony and respect the rich culture and traditions of our country that makes our nation extraordinary. She also proposed the idea of tying a rakhi to a tree and to nourish it well.
