Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Summer's here, which means it's time for … jazz, fun and learning! Following the strategy to make the students learn through fun, a Summer Camp was organised for the  students at The Millennium School which was  a sterling learning experience for the students.
It was a fun filled extravaganza for the students where they were given a platform to shed their inhibitions and showcase their hidden talent. The day started with a health talk followed by Yoga, Exercises and Sun  Salutation. To beat the heat students enjoyed taking a cool dip in the swimming pool where they also learned different styles of swimming. There were a lot of activities for each student like Classical dance, Western  dance, Drums, Keyboard, Singing ,Basket Ball, Skating, Badminton,Football, Art and Craft etc. The art of Pottery was an added attraction, where children enjoyed making their own pots and articles.

Special Lessons for self defence were given through Martial Arts.
To inculcate values and morals and boost the confidence in each child there were sessions held on Personality development.
The event was a grand success as the students displayed their learning, the dances brought to life the concept of rhythm that captivated the hearts of the audience , the exuberant performance of drums enlivened the  atmosphere at the end .

The Principal of the school, Dr Manjula Goswami encouraged the spirit of sportsmanship in students and abundantly praised their efforts.
