The students of Class IV of The Millennium School, Lucknow participated in an Inter Class Soft Board Decoration Competition on 27th July, 2015 as part of the awareness day and celebration of ‘Tiger Day’. The aim of the competition was to raise awareness and support for conservation issues related to the majestic animal that is on the verge of extinction. The topic was given a week in advance so that the students could get enough time to collect material like pictures, slogans etc. The boards were judged on the basis of creativity, teamwork, neatness and the one which could best promote human concern for the royal species.
The Principal of the school, Dr Manjula Goswami, appreciated the team effort and implored the students to spread awareness with regard to the decline in the number of tigers. Class IV A stood first followed by IV C on the second position.
