Trip to Zoo

Trip to Zoo

Animals are important to us and we all marvel at this creation of God. To make the animals feel at home an artificial atmosphere is created in a zoo for the healthy growth and long life of animals.
The Millennium School, South City organized a field trip to Nawab Wazid Ali Shah Zoological Garden popularly known as Lucknow Zoo for the students of Class VII on 18th March,2019.This field trip was an extension to the classroom learning required for the holistic development of a child’s personality. It gave the children a chance to unwind in an open environment and also connect with the nature.
The students were full of excitement when they reached the zoo. The zoo had a large number of different kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and snakes, all kept in cages and most carefully looked after. The children saw the Vintage Train, Raj Hans TU-124 Aircraft, Nocturnal House, Serpentarium, Aquarium, and Floral diversity which was an added attraction for the visitors. The children also hopped aboard the toy train that runs through the zoo. A ride on the toy train served as an icing on the cake. The children carried their favourite eatables and enjoyed sharing it among their classmates .
The overall experience which they gained with their teachers and friends could not be expressed in words. The students were full of gratitude to their Principal, Dr. Manjula Goswami  as they derived complete happiness and acquired memories to be cherished forever. It was a fun filled day for the children and teachers.
