Class V Presentation on PTM
28th of January 2012 was a day to rejoice, when The Millennium family showcased the innate talents of the students of classes 3 to 5. Through their class presentation students portrayed their day to day activity and the teaching methodology implemented at The Millennium School. The event started with the Morning Prayer followed by the Pledge, Thought of the day, and Amazing facts. Activities like sports, dance & singing were also staged beautifully. Games like Dum Charade & Quiz etc to gear up the parents were conducted and exemplary performers were awarded by the honourable principal Dr. Manjula Goswami. She thanked the parents for their precious time and enthusiastic participation and presence.

Basant Panchami
On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, The Millennium School, Lucknow, organized a prayer service to honour Goddess Saraswati. The prayer service was held to instill the importance of knowledge & education amongst one and all. This event started with a shloka which was sung in praise of Goddess Saraswati. The Principal Dr. Manjula Goswami gave an inspiring speech telling the students the importance of the day. Books, pens & other academic documents were worshipped by the staff and students. The event concluded with the teachers & students singing a melodious Vandana. It was a very motivating & enthusiastic way to bring in spring season.

Republic Day Celebrations
Republic Day commemorates the date on which the Constitution of India came into force, replacing the British governing document of India, on 26th January, 1950. To celebrate this important day, a declamation Session and some cultural programmes were organized at The Millennium School, Lucknow. The beginning of this auspicious day was marked by the unfurling of our National Flag by the honourable Principal Ma’am, Dr. Manjula Goswami. The students exhibited their talents dressed as freedom fighters from the pre-independence era. While the seniors cheered, the little ones of classes I and II chanted slogans from popular leaders of Indian history and recited poems marking their feeling of patriotism for the country. The School Choir was no far behind. The instrumental presentation of Vande Mataram and the patriotic songs ignited the special pride in our nation. The day culminated with the distribution of traditional sweets amongst all the children.
