Dr Bindu Rana Director, The Millennium School, Director , Educomp’s R & D Division
An educationist with over 25 years of experience and expertise in the field of education, she has done her PhD in ‘Inclusive Education’ under the guidance of ‘Father of Inclusion’, Dr Tony Booth, Professor of Inclusion and International Education, Canterbury Christ Church and International Education, Canterbury.
Dr. Bindu Rana holds four postgraduate degrees in Political Science, Education, Special Education and Upanishad, and she is currently pursuing her fifth postgraduate degree in Bhagwat Gita.
Her experience in education ranges from being a teacher to guiding a team of ardent researchers at the R&D facility. She has been instrumental in creating four distinct and unique Learning Systems catering to different segments of society—Little Millennium, the Millennium Learning System, the E-DAC Learning System and the Scaffolding Learning System—each with its own unique philosophy and pedagogy.
She has also conceptualised books and online content on Parenting Tips, English language enhancement modules and more than 60 training videos for facilitators which can be delivered online.
Besides working on the creative side, she has created a unique repertoire of more than 200 training programmes and has personally trained thousands of teachers around the country.
Today, she is Director of The Millennium, Takshila and Universal Academy schools.
Dr. Rana believes that every child can be a learner if he/she is given a chance to compete with himself/herself. Education for children with special needs has been close to her heart and she has created an inclusive learning environment within the mainstream schools.
She is actively involved with various NGOs working for children with special needs, and runs an NGO called ‘Friends Organisation’ that focuses on creating a recreational centre for adults who are differently-abled.
Dr Rana sees learning as an ongoing process and is always open to new ideas and changing ideologies. She is on various school managing committee boards, has been speaking at various conferences around the world and has participated in many education forums actively.
Mrs. Rita Kaul, Director The Millennium School's
Ms. Rita Kaul, is a special educator and psychologist with 23 years of experience. She specializes in setting up innovative schools. She has been a recipient of many national awards for excellence in education, notable ones being Arch of Excellence (Education) Award 2001, Shiksha Shiromani Puruskar, and Spardhashree Award. Rita is a member of International Standards of Technical Education (ISTE, USA) for Delhi chapter.
She has been the founder principal of The Heritage School, New Delhi and Senior School in-charge, Apeejay School, Faridabad. She has done extensive research in Value Education. Her two very significant publications include 'Handbook of Value Education' CBSE, 1998 and 'School Ambience & Value Inculcation Through Curriculum' – a handbook for teachers published in 2002 through the CBSE.
Mr. Mansoor Raza, Procurement for Educomp Schools / Educomp Group
As the leader of the company's global procurement team, Mansoor is responsible for creating and executing the global/ Pan-India procurement strategy. He collaborates with key business leaders to identify and develop short- and long-term strategies that enable the procurement function to meet the changing needs of the business.
Mansoor has more than 20 years of experience in Supply chain, Operations and Education & Training. He has worked with Educomp in various capacities over the years.
Ms. Amisha Beri, (Senior Vice President Marketing)
Amisha heads Marketing and Communications at Educomp Schools and is the mainstay with over six years of experience at senior positions mastering various roles handling multiple brands. Her hospitality background helps her in serve effective marketing and branding strategies. Her passion for launching new businesses and brands clearly reflects in her ideas.
Mr. Vikram Puri, Head of Administration and Facilities
Vikram joined Educomp as the head of Administration and facilities for the Educomp group. Over the years he moved to various roles and today he leads the Infrastructure (civil and electromechanical) team to ensure delivery of infrastructure related operations and maintenance related outcomes.
He also leads the school process implementation and audit function with a view to automate and optimize operational efficiency at every level. Previously he has had 17 years of experience in the shipping industry a where he has been a Master Mariner.
Mr. Subrata Biswas, Assistant Vice President Operations
Mr. Subrata Biswas heads the Operations of EISML Schools. He is responsible for maintaining efficient systems and removing obstacles, helping schools to build strong cultures that reflect the mission and values that they believe in. Prior to this assignment he was driving the Educomp's Smart Class implementation and Technology Evaluation Center, part of the Product Innovation and Evaluation Vertical. He has been part of Educomp Solutions Ltd for last 17 years and has worked in different roles.
Subrata is a very techno savvy person and has been instrumental in developing and evaluating right fit product for classroom solutions. He has also been involved in implementing complex, large resource intensive Computer Aided Education & Technology Enabled Learning projects for Educomp in Govt. and Private schools space.
Mr. Sumit Mishra, Business development and partner relationship
Sumit looks after business development and partner relationship. He has been with Educomp for four years and been involved in important K-12 partnership deals. In his previous role in the franchise oriented vocational training industry at Jetking Infotrain he headed a region with turnover in excess of 50 crores.
As part of the leadership team at Jetking he was instrumental in key marketing activities like sponsorship of IPL (Delhi Daredevils) in 2009. Previously he has also been in sales and marketing roles with Godrej and IMS. He is a graduate of Allahabad University and IIM Ahmedabad.
