Yoga Camp at TMS Patiala

A Yoga Camp was organised at TMS Patiala by instructors of Shri Asaram Ji Bapu Asharam. The Yoga instructors demonstrated various 'asanaas'. They also briefed the students on healthy diet to be taken during summer. The students interacted with the instructors and asked their queries.

Baisakhi 2012 Celebration

|
The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with gaiety and exuberance in the school premises. A tableaux of depicting a village of Punjab was created to vividly describe the festivlal of harvest. The Principal, Mrs. Neelinderjeet Kaur Sandhu also explained the 'Journey of a Roti'. The process of sowing, harvesting, winnowing, gathering, selling wheat at the grain market was shown to the students. The process of the grinding wheat into flour and then the end product i.e. 'Roti', was a unique experience for many a students.

Drug Abuse Marathon

The new academic session of The Millennium School, Patiala began with a Marathon to emphasize the importance of sports and to fight against the increasing problem of drug addiction among the younger generation.

Drawing Competition

The stall of The Millennium School, Patiala was put up at the Polo Ground where a large no. of people had gathered to watch the dog show. A drawing competition was organized on the topic "Save Environment". More than 200 children participated in the competition.

Sports Meet

|
First Annual Kindergarten Sports Meet was conducted on 15th February 2012. All the students from Pre-KG to U.K.G. participated in March Past and Physical Training Exercises. They also participated enthusiastically in the various races. There was also a demonstration on Taekwondo by the Tiny Tots.

Dance Performance

A Dance Workshop was conducted by Mr. Sudip Ghosh who is a renowned Manipuri dancer. He displayed various dance forms and gave an insight to the students and the teachers, about the history of Manipuri dance. The highlight of his performance was dance drama 'Shayama' written by Nobel laureate Rabindernath Tagore.
