Dear Parents,

It will be a holiday for the students of class II on Saturday i.e 19^th May 2012.

The following students  of class II will be participating in the Fourth Raising Day celebrations of Rainbow Club, an NGO for specially abled children at Thapar Auditorium:-Anhad, Ayush, Ashwinder, Guntas, Hemreen, Prakriti, Shubham, Swastik, Ekamjot, Sukhman, Sukhmani, Rimjhim and Gurshaan. The buses will pick these students at 5pm on 19^th May 2012. The students will carry their water bottles and a snack tiffin  and will be attired in their proper school uniform. The programme will get over by 8pm followed by dinner. The parents are requested to pick their wards from the auditorium.

You are welcome to attend the programme.

On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, a function was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society at Tagore Theatre, Sector-18, Chandigarh on 8^th May 2012. The students of TMS Patiala had performed a musical ballad “Jhansi Ki Rani”. The school received an award on this occasion for its excellent service and participation in all Red Cross activities in the academic session 2011-2012. All the students who have the old pair of Sports shoes (Power- Bata) can continue wearing those till they wear out. New shoes need not be bought till such time. The Sikh boys will wear under turbans matching with their school rompers/ shorts. The girls will wear black hair bands (short hair) and black rubber bands (long hair) with their uniform. And white hair bands and rubber bands respectively with sports uniform.

We are beginning with meals (Breakfast and Lunch) in the school very shortly. The cost of Breakfast will be Rs.25 and Lunch will be Rs.35. You can opt for both breakfast and lunch for your ward. In case you wish to opt for either one of the meals i.e. only breakfast or only lunch, that can also be made available for your ward. Dear Parents,

24^th March i.e Saturday and 25^th March i.e Sunday will be regular working days for all the classes i.e Pre-Nursery to Class V. The buses will ply at the regular school timings.

The Dress Rehearsal for Annual Day will take place on 26^th March 2012 at The Tiwana Centre for Performing Arts, Nabha Road, Patiala. The rehearsal will take place during the school timings. The buses will ply as usual.

For 27^th March 2012, the first pick up for classes I to V will begin at 11am so that the students reach the venue by 12:15pm. For Kindergarten, the first pick up will begin at 12:30pm.

The students will go back with their parents on the day of the function.

The parents can collect their wards only after the function gets over, from the green room .The class teacher will hand over the child to the parent only after the function gets over.

All students will carry Tiffin boxes & water-bottles. You are requested to send dry contents like sandwiches, cake etc in the Tiffin box. Kindly refrain your ward from carrying things like curd, gravy etc.

28^th March will be a holiday for all the students.

29^th March 2012 will be Graduation Day for class V in the Activity Room. The timings are 10am to 11am. Class V students to accompany their parents in their school uniform.

There will be a Prize Distribution Ceremony on 29^th March in the Activity Room . The prize distribution for all classes will begin at 10am. Only the parents of prize-winning students along with their wards , should be seated by 10am. The students should be attired in their school uniform.

There will be a Parent Teacher Meeting on 29^th March 2012 from 11:30am to 1:30pm for all the classes.

The buses will not ply on 29^th March 2012.

For the meeting with the Principal, kindly take a prior appointment. You are requested to abide by the timings mentioned above.
