The Millennium school, Patiala celebrated Baisakhi with traditional fervour and gaiety. What a spectacular sight it was to behold when the students and staff got into the festive mood and let their hearts dance to the rhythm of the drums to celebrate Baisakhi. A special assembly was conducted to mark the occasion.The whole school came alive with a brilliant Bhangra performance which was the highlight of the programme. Children were dressed in Punjabi attire and performed on various dance items. The school choir group rendered a soulful song on the occasion as well. Ms. Vineeta Rajput, the Principal of the Millennium school apprised the students about the importance of Baisakhi festival and they were told about the origin and value of this day as well. The kindergarten children were taken to a nearby farmhouse to uphold the rich tradition of this harvesting festival. All in all students attired in colourful dress and cheerful mood made the day pleasant.
