With the caption, Buland Bharat, the Annual Function was organized today on the premises of The Millennium Scool, Patiala, in which the students of Pre KG to Class II participated. The programme started with a traditional song in the praise of the Lord. This was followed by the presentation of Cinderella/The Little Glass Slipper, a play by class I students which was highly appreciated by the audience. The performance of Hanuman Chalisa by children of Pre KG won the hearts of many. Students of class I presented a dance entitled Let Freedom Ring, which was followed by a play on the life of Shiva ji by class II students. The atmosphere was awash with the spirit of patriotism when the tiny-tots of LKG came up with a dance. Holi was the theme of the dance by the students of UKG which spread the colours of the festival around. The colourful programme concluded with the youngsters raising their voice against violence against women in the society in a play against dowry. At the end of the function, the Principal, Mrs. Neelinderjeet Kaur Sandhu, thanked the parents for sparing their time.
