The Millennium school Patiala organized a self awareness camp today to apprise the students about the importance of protecting themselves from Physical and Emotional harm of any kind. The camp commenced with Lamp Lighting ceremony. Ms. Pushpa Devi, Inspector, Punjab Police Patiala, In charge of Road Safety and Education cell graced the gathering with her enlightening speech on following the traffic rules and its dire aftermath if we fail to do the same. She was accompanied by Ms. Suman Bala, Sub-Inspector, District Incharge of Saanjh Kendra, and Patiala, who threw light on the growing incidents of Cyber crimes among teenagers nowadays. Ms. Vineeta Rajput, the Principal, guided the students about 'Good touch and Bad touch’ in her address. Students were encouraged to get in touch with apps like ‘Shakti App’ etc controlled by Punjab Police in case of any emergencies. It was a great learning session for all those who attended the camp. A workshop for drivers and maids were also conducted on Safety of the Students and people on the way.
