Bapu's birthday was celebrated with fervour, enthusiasm, and patriotism at the Millennium School, Amritsar. The special assembly was a significant effort by students of Grade IX A to provide a profound understanding of Mahatma Gandhi's life and times. The gathering opened with a special tribute to our nation's "Father." Gandhi's principles were discussed by the students, as well as their relevance in today's world. Gandhi Jayanti was observed not only by Grades XI and X, but also by Junior classes, that virtually displayed glimpses of Gandhiji's life, such as the Non-Violence Movement and the Swadeshi Movement. Gandhiji's three monkeys symbolised the value of seeing, hearing, and speaking well.
