The Millennium School,Amritsar successfully inaugurated the Literature Festival - Zazen 3.O: Mind Full to Mindfulness through Reading, on 22nd April 2024. Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Former Indian Ambassador to the United States and High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka presided over as the Chief Guest. Well acclaimed authors Ms. Mishthi Arun, Mr. Rouble Tuli, Ms. Nandini Malhotra , Ms. Jaspal Kaur and our special guest CA Mr. Amit Handa were among the other dignitaries present. Mr. Sandhu, in his address, not only inspired the assembled students but also imparted invaluable wisdom, urging them to recognize their inherent talents and invest in their refinement, thus fostering independence and self-assurance among the young minds.
The event began with a beautiful lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a heartfelt prayer. There were dance and singing performances to add a touch of grace and artistry to the event. Having renowned authors from the town join the ceremony was a treat for all the literature enthusiasts present.
In essence, the inaugural day of the three-day Literature Festival laid a splendid foundation, promising a plethora of insightful and exhilarating events in store for the attendees, encapsulating the spirit of intellectual exploration and cultural enrichment that defines The Millennium School, Amritsar.
