TMSA shines at World Scholar Cup

We are proud to announce that our school team composed of Amaira Walia (Grade-8), Reet Nalwa (Grade-8) and Angaddeep Singh (Grade-6) has made us all proud by their outstanding performance at the World Scholars Cup Global Round held in Bangkok. The team competed against 3500 children from over 45 countries and brought home a total of 22 medals and a qualification for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University, USA!
Here are some of the highlights of their achievements:
Amaira Walia got 10 medals, 6 gold and 4 silvers. She ranked 30th in Artt and Music, 55th in Literature and Media, and 55th in Science and Technology. She was also the 205th best debater and the 97th best essayist at the event. Her overall rank was 62 out of 3500 children!
Reet Nalwa got 8 medals, 6 golds and 2 silvers. She ranked 22nd in Art and Music, 279th best debater, and 164th best essayist at the event. Her overall rank was 115 out of 3500 children!
Angaddeep Singh got 4 gold medals and 1 silver. He was the 208th best debater at the event.
The team also achieved remarkable results as a team:
The team was the top 56th debate team and received a gold medal for the same.
The team was the 30th best team in the team bowl and bagged a gold medal for that.
The team was the 98th best collaborative writing team with a silver medal for their efforts.
Overall, out of all the teams in the event, our team was the 31st best team and qualified for the prestigious Tournament of Champions at Yale University, USA!
We congratulate our team for their hard work, dedication, and excellence. They have shown us what it means to be a scholar, a leader, and a global citizen. We wish them all the best for their future endeavors.
