World Heritage Day (class 6 to 8)

World Heritage Day (class 6 to 8)

Every year on April 18, World Heritage Day is celebrated to highlight the preservation of human heritage and the efforts of organisations working to do so. We all know that historic structures and monuments are valuable to us and the rest of the world.
It is essential to understand the significance of our own country's culture and tradition, which is why World Heritage Day is primarily focused on raising awareness about the need to conserve it. The value we place on our culture as citizens is remarkable and beyond description. However, we must also adapt and have a better understanding of the culture's relevance.
The Learners at The Millennium School, Amritsar did their bit by conducting a research and preparing a project on the local heritage sites and various measures undertaken by the authorities for its preservation.
