INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARDS 2019-20
‘ANIMALS IN PERIL OF THE WORLD’
In this academic session 2019-20 The Millennium School Indore has initiated the process to instill global dimension into the learning experience and embed it into the Millennium Learning System and whole school ethos.
In continuation to this, the school has organized Big Banner Collage making activity on 13th February 2020, to raise awareness and to promote the protection of natural habitat of endangered animals and birds of the world that face serious threats for their survival.
The African Elephant of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has 85,000 elephants but the country's depleting national parks and conservation areas can only cope with 55,000. Grazing lands and water have fast exhausted as the country is experiencing its worst drought in years. Where as the Chinese river Dolphin is a freshwater Dolphin and is close to its extinction on Earth due to extreme fishing, dams, and industrial pollution.
The Students of The Millennium School will make a Big Banner collage of the Elephant and Dolphin with ‘endangered species’ slogan to support them.
Students of ‘AAKRATI’ Art & Craft Talent Development Club (grade III to V) are requested to bring the following items to participate in the activity:
1. Fabric colours- 12 colour set
2. White sheet- 1
3. Sponge- 1
4. Rough cloth
5. Fevicol
6. Rough Newspapers
