70TH INDIAN CONSTITUTION DAY

The 70th Indian Constitution Day was celebrated in the premises of The Millennium School, Kurukshetra with extreme devotion. All the students from classes I to XII assembled in the play ground where a special assembly was organized to commemorate the red letter day. After the Pledge, the Preamble of the Indian Constitution was rendered. Miss. Alisha, the political science teacher enhanced the knowledge of the learners by imparting interesting facts about the Indian Constitution viz. how it was formed and what was the ideology behind the formation of this vital Legal Document. All the students listened and comprehended the information very eagerly. The students were also informed about the 26/11, 2008 Mumbai Attack and observed the silence of two miniutes. They were encouraged to be the vigilant Indians and to adopt reverent attitude toward our country and the Indian Constitution which is the pride of every Indian. The assembly culminated with the singing of the National Anthem.
