Two students of The Millennium School, Kurukshetra have given the first present of the new year 2020 to the school by winning laurels at the international level. Parnika Gunner and Prisha Garg, the national and international dancers of class VIII and VII respectively proved their mettle once again by performing spectacularly in the prestigious Solo Kathak International Dance Competition held at Singapore in December. Parnika Gumber achieved the third position along with the bronze medal, while Prisha Garg won the gold medal by securing the first position in the prestigious event.
It is noteworthy that before this achievement, they have already performed at national and international levels. Both shone last year also in various categories by doing praiseworthy in the tough competitions by the dint of their hard work and conscientious endeavours. The duo have represented Kurukshetra and Haryana through their talent in Haryana District, Zonal and State Level Dance Championships by competing with the numerous dancers from the entire region and nation. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh expressed his elation on this remarkable achievement and congratulated the international champions and their parents saying that the school feels proud of both the talented champions. He also extended his warm wishes for theIr bright future.
