26th of January is a gala day for every Indian. On 26th Jan. 1950, the Constitution of India came into force and our country, India became the Republic. We celebrate this day as a festival every year. This year it was celebrated with pomp and show in our school. Special assembly was organized by Emerging Wings to mark the occasion.
All learners came dressed up in attires of different states . A few learners dressed up like Subhash Chander Bose, Bhagat Singh, Jwahar Lal etc. performed an energetic dance which brought out feelings of patriotism. Teachers told the learners about the significance of Republic day and about our constitution. The program was concluded with the
national anthem.
