‘Winners don’t do different things, they do it differently’. The Millennium School, Kurukshetra organized its first Virtual Annual Day ‘Andaz-e-Millennium’ with great zest. The school Principal, Dr. A. K. Singh lit the ceremonial lamp. The events of the function initiated with the worship of Lord Ganesha. The students dressed up in attractive costumes exhibited their alluring gestures. Principal, Dr. A. K. Singh formally welcomed the eminent viewers and presented the comprehensive summary of the sessions 2019-20 and 2020-21. The students of classes Pre-nursery to XII showcased their inherent talent and emotions through various animated dances and melodious songs The toddlers of Little Millennium performed dance on the theme ‘Seasons’ by linking them with the true essence of happiness. The jolly dance drama of the class I students, who told how Sunday is the time to rejuvenate and relax, spell bound the viewers. Besides this, the students of class 2 spread the message of maintain cleanliness through their inspirational dance number. The real heroes, our soldiers who safe guard us day and night, were given a tribute by the dancers of class III. The objective of classes IV and V to conserve and preserve nature touched every heart. The expressive dancers of class VI reminded everyone how family is pivotal in life as it circulates love unconditionally . Since laughter is the best medicine, the talented poets of class VII made everyone laugh through their hilarious and satirical poems. The group song presented by class VIII explained the importance of character building to lead a contented life especially in the complexities of the modern age. Hindi play ‘Antim Patra’ imparted the poignant message of patriotism. It was a tribute to all the Warriors who are serving their countrymen selflessly during the hard time of Coivd-19. On the other hand, the vibrant western dance ‘Shake A Leg’ of classes XI and XII was a specimen of exuberance and unmatched rhythm. The laudable contemporary dance was worthy to be seen. The evergreen melodious Hindi and English songs sung by the talented singers in the medley ‘Unchained Melodies’ enthralled the listeners and carried them down the memory lane. The Founder of The Millennium Schools, Mr. Shantanu Prakash and the Director, Mr. Abhinav Dhar were the Guests of Honour on this memorable occasion. They appreciated the talented Millenniumites for their sparkling performances and exemplary enthusiasm during the Covid time. The programme was aired on Youtube and Facebook also, where the numerous viewers encouraged the performers by liking and sharing it wholeheartedly. The grand event culminated with the Vote of Thanks followed by the Millennium Anthem.
