‘FESTIVITIES AROUND THE GLOBE’
In this academic session 2019-20 The Millennium School Indore has initiated the process to instill international dimension into the learning experience. To give a glimpse of diverse festivities and celebrations around the globe, our students are all excited as they prepare to celebrate the most popular festival of Singapore ‘Chinese New Year’. The Chinese New Year is the Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar. The festival is usually referred to as the Spring Festival in mainland China, and is one of several Lunar New Years in Asia. 2020 is the year of the Rat (2020). In Chinese culture, rats are seen as a sign of wealth and surplus.
The students of grade V A will show their creativity by creating festive Chinese New Year cards for their friends of partner School from Namwon Middle School in Jeju island, South Korea. The festive cards will play a significant meaning for the season for them.
