CHILDREN’S DAY AT THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL

As a tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Lal Nehru’s seamless affection for children, his birthday is celebrated as Children’s day across the nation. The facilitators at The Millennium School played host to an enthralling event for the students. As a token of endearment for the young learners, all segments of the school assembly were presented by the faculty members .The aura of jubilation pervaded the entire campus from Little Millennium to MLS 3.

The string of events began with a skit wherein the faculty members made an attempt to ape their students. The audience went into hysterics, laughing at the skillful portrayal of them. A melodious group song was also presented by the teachers. Keeping in sync with the interests of generation ’Y’, the teachers walked the ramp with all elements of ‘Haute Couture’(High Fashion).The highlight of the event was the mellifluent medley presented by the Principal of the school, Dr. Goswami. Her charming gesture captivated the children and the auditorium resounded with ‘encore’.

The students of Class XII were invited to the stage to cut a sumptuous cake with Principal Ma’am and other facilitators.

Various excursions were organized for the students of different wings. The children of MLS 1 were taken to the zoological garden. The pupils from VI-VIII were taken to GRRC for a lively peek into the lives of army men. The students of Class XII were taken to Amrapali Park. The children returned home with fond memories.
