*The Women and Child Security Organization(WCSO-1090 Helpline)* in collaboration with UNICEF and Facebook, launched an online public awareness programme for women and child’s safety with the tagline *‘HUM FOR HER’.* *Pooja Hegde,* the Bollywood actress and model who appears predominantly in Hindi and Telugu Films and was also crowned second runner up at the Miss Universe 2010 Competition has garnered her support to the campaign. Along with her, *the students and staff of The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow* participated in the campaign so as to spread awareness and inculcate a feeling of pride and safety for women in the city, *The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami,* in her address, said that the responsibility of educational institutes is not confined only to admission, teaching, examination and results but to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive approaches to advocate the provision of a safer ecosystem for school going girls or women in public spaces.
