When students and teachers are together outside the classrooms ,educational environment and experiences attain new limits. The Millennium School Amritsar always nurtures the inherent potential of every child by giving them exposure to things that help them shape their personality . The school had organized an excursion for the students of classes 1 to 10 to Sadda Pind.
Beautiful mud houses, lassi being churned ,men busy in animated discussions on their charpais, children climbing trees ,artisans creating something beautiful and women singing soulful melodies is a typical scene in Punjab which is not so common these days . To provide an in depth knowledge of Punjabi Village culture , colours and flavours of Punjab the students were taken to this village museum so that our young learners can reconnect with their roots ,understand the traditions .values of their fathers and forefathers.
The students and the teachers enjoyed the trip to the fullest and returned with their lives more enriched.
